Community projects

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Future Parks have been working with Natural Cambridgeshire to deliver a series of nature-based project designed and delivered by local communities. In August 2021, we put an ASK out for applications to delivery local nature-based projects that enable greater community engagement with nature and public green space. We received a broad range of applications from across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and nine projects were awarded funding. Here are the stories of some of the brilliant nature restoration work in parks and green spaces across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
